What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
Research
Slideshare- allowed me to upload a powerpoint onto the web, and then permitted me to insert the link onto my blog. I have developed the skills of being able to upload one media format and create it into something else, slideshare is a more creative format then powerpoint as it gives the information that is on the slides below the powerpoint so viewers can use the information i have found as it is readily available on the web.
Clip converter- it was easily accessible, and enables me to create a clip into the format that I needed in order to complete the second evaluation question.
Youtube- is free online software and accommodates to all users as you can access multi media platforms such as music, blogs, films etc. It gave us conventional ideas for our film opening, and allowed us to take screenshots of films and embed them into my blog. I learnt how to upload videos with youtube capture on my mobile phone. This is useful as mobile phones are easily accessible.
Prezi- has been helpful in helping me to present my research on institutions. It is a more creative way as it is animated and allows you to add different media forms such as images, text, videos with the aspect of it being animated rather that just clicking through slides (powerpoint), prezi offers a more creative presentation format. I never knew about this format, so i have learnt how to use this media platform and I grasped how to use it quite quickly.

Survey monkey- was an simple online website to use in order to structure a survey for our target audience. It was useful in the planning of our film opening as we learnt what to include and what to include, which was useful in order to make it appeal to teenagers/young adults. You can share the link to your survey on many multi-media platforms which was useful as on my Facebook page many of my friends fit the target audience profile, so therefore the results were reliable. With the option to add your own comment it gave us more depth into the answers that were given.

Planning
Blogger- permitted me to save all my work in one place, and I could
go back and add/change anything so that all my planning/research was detailed.
It can hold multimedia platforms. It is easy to access and locate, also the app
is available to download on the apple store so I could add to my blog outside
of lesson time.
Google- I used Google for a large amount of my research to find
the conventions of slasher films, to research images and information in order to create a mood board. I correlated many images and ideas from Google. I have accessed Google many times before so I don't believe I have learnt any skills from using this media platform.
