Flashback Synopsis
It’s February 10th and six high school seniors, Emily (Emily Martin), Ellie (Eleanor Galloway), Toby (Toby Stubbs), Leah (Leah Joyce), Chloe (Chloe Owen) and Jonty (Jonty Lumley) decide to have some fun on their last summer as kids. So they decide to be adventurous and go camping alone in the woods. With a dark figure that is seen on screen, you know something isn’t right. Once they arrive, Emily believes that she can see something in the distance, but convinces herself that it is nothing. All characters are settled, they start being rebellious by drinking and smoking, but when one character wonders off to explore and doesn’t return that’s when all the characters realise something isn’t right.
There’s a twist when the two males start to become close… they decide to go on an adventure in the darkness of the woods. There are unfamiliar sounds but all the teenagers decide to ignore it and carry on talking as they believe that they will be okay as there are two of them. But when they all bed down for the night and Toby and Jonty still haven’t returned by the morning they all decide to spend their first full day in the woods searching for their missing friends.
When Emily, Leah and Chloe find Ellie’s body in a pool of blood in the middle of the woods, with no trace of where the blood leads to, crying and screaming at the fact their close friend has been murdered they decide to carry on to try and find Toby and Jonty. They find Toby’s t-shirt covered in blood hanging from the tree… but they bring to a conclusion that they need to ignore it and try to figure out where their friends have gone...
I decided to do a more detailed synopsis rather than to just include what occurs in the opening, this is due to us planning out and thinking about what would happen if we were to continue to create a whole slasher movie.
